Sometimes life can present us with dilemmas and life choices that can leave us feeling anxious, stuck and confused. Such dilemmas may feel critical to our lives, loves, relationships, families and work. Sometimes, we can be presented with choosing a road to take that suggests a big change in who we are and how we will go on to live our lives. Other potential choices can provoke feelings and emotions that can feel disturbing or overwhelming.
Facing such dilemmas and thinking about the important choices you could make can lead to feelings of uncertainty, confusion, anxiety and worry. This can be isolating as such decisions can feel so impactful and private to us, that it can be difficult to discuss them with friends and family who you may think of as involved or effected.
Therapy can offer an inviting and supportive place to discuss and explore these difficult choices and dilemmas. In my work with you, I aim to be neutral, accepting and understanding in the hope that we can share, explore and make sense of the dilemmas that trouble you. I intend to do this without judgement and without moralising so we can truly explore what you’re going through and perhaps the direction you may wish to take. This could involve making sense of the dilemma itself, the choices you have made in the past to reach this point, how you feel you are and would like to be, what’s really important to you, and those you love. Whatever the dilemma is, you don’t have to face it alone.
