Sometimes life can be hard and distressing and it can be difficult to see a way through. The world around you may seem indifferent or expect you to shoulder your burdens in solitude, without support or recognition of how you really feel. You may feel that you have to show those around you that you are the perfect partner, employee, boss, son, daughter, the list of demands can go on but you try to stay strong. Yes, life can be daunting and it can be hard to admit that it’s difficult to cope and the pressure or pain of whatever burdens you has become too much. And that’s okay.
Finding the courage to stop and decide to face the problems that challenge you is an important first step. I would like to work with you by providing individual counselling to address where you find yourself and the difficulties you may be feeling. We can work through the reality of your life together, at your pace, through a respectful and sensitive approach. Therapy gives you a place where you can safely explore whatever you bring, whatever troubles you, be it emotional feelings, crisis, traumatic experiences or the dilemma of life’s choices.
